Wii DVDtools Released Reading and writing to the Wii's DVD drive is now possible with the release of Erant's dvdtools. I'm finally ready to release 'dvdtool'. Dvdtool is a utility that allows you read and write from the Wii's DVD drive, but also inject code into the interrupt handler thread (ON THE DRIVE, not in the Wii itself). The readme should be pretty self-explanatory. The code is still a little rough around the edges, so I won't be releasing that for now, but you can still have fun with the tool itself.

The very first Wii modchip has just been disclosed. What can I say? Oh yeah, it is real. I have seen it in action, some stores are already selling it, and we will receive a sample in the next couple of days.
Congratulations to the Ninja team! ttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=libxIKSTS9A
